Overview   Under the general supervision of the Sleep Center Director and Sleep Center Medical Director, perform hook-up and diagnostic procedures related to patient care in accordance with the Sleep Center Policy and Procedure manual.  Assist with clerical duties including admitting, filing, and record keeping and cleaning.   Earn and retain BLS CPR certification.    Perform adequate NPSGs/MSLTs/MWTs.    Maintain the yearly requirement of Continuing Education Credits as deemed necessary by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).   A-STEP certification in Polysomnography is now a requirement and the sole responsibility of the individual technologist.  If for some reason the technologist fails to complete ASTEP modules, the employee will be counseled and given a timeframe of adequate completion of the requirement as governed by AASM.  The employee will have 2 ASTEP exam attempts within the first 6 months of eligibility to earn a passing...
