Overview Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed; according to established practices and procedures Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated anatomical area. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, digital image management for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible. Overview Performs at least two or more imaging technologies to assist with the diagnosis of medical conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Operates a variety of imaging machines, such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT or MRI, according to established safety protocols. Ensures proper patient positioning and imaging techniques.
