About this Job: J oin  our exceptional Main PACU in the recently inaugurated  Ve rstandig  P avilion,  lo cated  o n Georgetown's campus. This  st ate-of-the-art  M edical and Surgical building, which spans  47 7,000 square feet ,  is dedicated to delivering  op timal  c are and comfort to our patients.     The Phase I Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)  is comprised of two physical units on floors immediately above and below one another in the brand new  Verstandig  Pavilion.  Each space  contains  24 recovery bays, which support 31 operating rooms.  These units provide immediate postoperative care to inpatient and outpatient surgical patients  in accordance with  ASPAN standards. About this Job: General Summary of Position Responsible for patient assessment pre and intra procedural care of patients undergoing invasive procedures or sedation in the Department of Radiology. This is accomplished according to an established plan of care under the direction of the Director of Operations and Radiology Nurse Coordinator in charge of Nursing who is a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.   Schedule Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays, Three-12hr shifts per week 8:30am to 9:00 PM, plus occasional call.    Primary Duties and Responsibilities   Working with both inpatient and outpatient Monitoring patients undergoing MRI scans, including patients with cardiac devices + those who require pain/anxiety management to tolerate Monitoring patient under going CTAs, diamox studies, urograms, etc....
