About this Job: General Summary of Position The Pharmacy Technician MedAC supports pharmacists in a distribution setting by performing a variety of tasks related to medication preparation and inventory management. Responsibilities include pulling and filling medications in prepared dosage forms, including oral solids, liquids, nebulizers, and injectables. The technician receives, stores, and organizes incoming medications and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role also involves processing both electronic and paper records of medication orders, calculating charges, and entering data into computer systems. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including proper cleaning of equipment, is essential. The Pharmacy Technician collaborates closely with healthcare facilities, medication repackagers, and drug wholesalers to ensure the timely and uninterrupted delivery of medications.
