About this Job: MedStar Ambulatory Services is currently seeking a   Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with  1–2 years of coding experience  to join our team.  CPC certification through AAPC is required. About this Job: MedStar Health is seeking an experienced inpatient coder to join our Coding Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient coding, with auditing experience strongly preferred. Candidates must hold a current Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential through AHIMA.   In this role the Inpatient Coding Quality Review Specialist is responsible for providing expert review to ensure the quality and integrity of medical records. Responsibility includes validating ICD-10-CM/PCS codes by examining medical record documentation the assignment of present on admission (POA) indicators and discharge disposition status.
