About this Job: MedStar Health is looking for an Interventional  Radiology Technologist  to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore Maryland.    This is a PRN position between the hours of 7am-5:30pm. (Day Shift)   We also have one last PRN for an Interventional Radiology Technologist open at Franklin Sqaure Medical Center in Baltimore Maryland.   This is a highly skilled technical and professional position which assists with all invasive cardiovascular procedures and other specialized interventional procedures under the direction of the Interventional Radiologist, Cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon and in accordance with established protocols. The Vascular-Interventional Radiographer must be proficient in scrubbing procedures and the use of imaging, processing, and patient care-related equipment. About this Job: MedStar Health is looking for  a  Cath/IR Lab Technologist  to join our team at Medstar Health Southern Maryland Hospital located in Clinton, MD.   As a  Cath/IR Lab Technologist , you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/Angio/EP Lab specializing in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, embolization of vascular bleeds, thrombolysis catheter insertion, and EP devices and ablations. Additionally, assists physicians with nonvascular procedures such as percutaneous drain placements, gastrostomies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and other interventional radiology procedures. With increased experience provides resource and mentoring to new staff while exhibiting enhanced technical skills.
