DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Rad tech assistant is responsible for providing transportation of patients (ages pediatrics to geriatrics) to the Radiology department; also responsible for assisting technologists in performing transfers or ambulation to prevent falls; preparing patients and equipment for therapy and performing tasks to maintain department in orderly condition. SUPERVISION: Reports directly to the Advanced MRI Practice Director RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Properly identifies self/Properly identifies patient using two identifiers. Logs out patient.
