Under general supervision, the Infection Preventionist I utilizes evidence-based practices/guidelines with the ultimate goal of preventing healthcare-associated infections. This role collects, analyzes and reports surveillance data for healthcare-associated infections and identifies and investigates clusters or outbreaks of infection.
