Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, the Chief Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for organizing, managing and directing all technical and staff activities of the echo lab. Assists in planning and managing divisional operations, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures. Prioritizes services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available. This role will support our clinical department but may also support the echo school if needed.
This role performs an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies and may also perform vascular studies in the clinical and research settings at various locations. They also function as a Lead Cardiac sonographer. Examinations may...
