Looking for a Pediatrician to start as soon as credentialed for call coverage MUST have ACTIVE CA license and DEA Certifications Needed: NRP certification & needs to have/had in-patient hospital affiliation, within their specialty, in the last two (2) years. Shifts: 24-hour Call coverage (7 am - 7 am) Coverage needs per month: 6-7 shifts/month. Our average deliveries per month is approximately 30 (1 per day). Coverage will include: well newborn exam on delivery; follow-up with any additional needs until discharge; discharge exam; attendance at delivery if requested by MD for neonatal concern and/or transfer to higher level of care if the neonate needs NICU service.
