This role will go between Longwood Medical and Chesnut Hill: 3 days onsite at Longwood, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 2 days onsite at Chesnut Hill, Tuesday, Friday Hours are 8:00-4:30PM Under the direction of the Supervisor, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), the Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring that all instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in a quality/timely manner throughout the institute. Under direct/indirect supervision, follows approved infection control, quality assurance and departmental policies and procedures to perform a variety of duties related to the care and reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and accessories.
