Job Summary and Responsibilities Job Summary: The Physician Assistant is responsible for utilizing training and skills to pro9vide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician. Essential Responsibilities: Manage patients in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgeons, providing specialty care to patients with acute and chronic problems. Triage or address consults for immediate care or elective care through the cardiothoracic surgery clinic. Participate in surgical clinic and inpatient rounding. Perform inpatient rounds on weekends on a rotational basis. Collects data pertinent to the patietns' status and pe3rforms bedside credentialed procedures.
