Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner, responsible for delivering care to patients admitted to Neurosurgery at Chandler Regional Medical Center in collaboration with the physician/medical director, you will assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within your scope of practice. This includes taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis, and providing care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention. This is a well established practice with a strong built-in referral base. In this role, you will perform typical urological procedures such as Cystoscopy and Vasectomy, conduct post-surgery rounding, and dedicate significant time to both clinic and surgical cases with ample OR time to allow for a high volume of procedures. To be successful in this role, you must be a board certified or board eligible General Urologist with excellent clinical and leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of positive collegial relations, and a dedication to high-quality, compassionate patient care within a growing multi-specialty group.
