9LM is a 23-bed medical telemetry floor. We care for adult patients 18 -100+ years with multiple medical conditions including: COVID, COPD, Pneumonia, Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes, Renal Failure and Alcohol/Opioid Withdrawal. You will manage: Telemetry Monitoring, Wound Care, Foley Catheters, Rectal Tubes, Titrating Medications (i.e., Protonix, Insulin, Cardizem, Lasix), and use care of the elderly principles (ACE). We are a fast-paced medical unit partnering with our Hospitalist Physicians. We pride ourselves in working as a team and have a wealth of experience from which you will learn and grow. Come join our dynamic team! Major Responsibilities: Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care. Includes the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum....
