Wake Forest University School of Medicine is offering a one-year Fellowship in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine , beginning July 1, 2026 . This non-ACGME accredited program, housed within the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, provides a truly multidisciplinary educational experience. Fellows will gain exposure to a wide range of specialties, including infectious disease, vascular surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, burn care, dermatology, rehabilitation medicine, clinical nutrition, geriatrics, pain management, and rheumatology, while participating in both inpatient and outpatient wound care across four centers. The program also includes rotations in hyperbaric medicine and emphasizes collaboration across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. In addition to clinical training, fellows are expected to engage in research, either clinical or laboratory-based, under the guidance of faculty from the Wound Care Center and associated specialties.
