Overview Performs exercise and pharmacologic stress tests for nuclear cardiology procedures. Works with and around radioactive materials. Administers medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician. These medications include, but are not limited to, adenosine, Dobutamine, regadenoson, atropine, aminophylline, nitroglycerine, metoclopramide and sodium chloride. Qualifications Education: HS/GED required. Prefer college level course work, specifically in medical or science related fields. Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), LPN, or EMT II is preferred. Overview Obtains blood specimens from patients and delivers specimens to the laboratory and/or sends through the transport system.  Correctly identifies patients and specimens. Qualifications Education High School diploma or GED required. MLA certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (i.e. ASCP or AMT) preferred.
