Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist provides Respiratory care to all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adult and geriatrics.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing all modes of respiratory therapy using therapist driven protocols, along with arterial blood gas collection and analysis.  The candidate will also be responsible for Critical Care of the adult patient, using a progressive protocol for weaning ventilator patients, V60 BiPAP machines, Bronchoscopy assists and emergency airway management.  They will be working in a Level II SCN providing Bubble CPAP and short-term vent management.   Along with inpatient therapy, the Respiratory Department provides services to the Emergency Department, Inpatient Psychiatric floor and outpatient services. The Respiratory Therapist - Registered performs respiratory care related duties to all age groups.
