POSITION SUMMARY: This position will support San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital’s strategic plan and the organization’s mission to provide safe, high-quality, personalized healthcare services , while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Commitment. The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) performs services planned, delegated, and is supervised by the Occupational Therapist, assists patients to prevent disability and aims toward the promotion of maximal patient and caregiver participation and responsibility for the recovery program following disease, injury, surgery or loss of a body part. COTA provides care according to Rehab Department policies and procedures and the application of treatment techniques in accordance with discipline specific designated practice act.
