Overview Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of DRMC. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and DRMC. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Qualifications Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills. Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Tech, preferably in the area of application.   Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN.  Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.
