JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Director of Cardiology and Respiratory Services provides services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the medical staff at Central Vermont Medical Center. Functions within the scope of practice of the Respiratory Therapy Department and the hospital policies and procedures. Serves as a resource to nursing staff and physicians in the care of patients with respiratory problems. Participates in quality management activities hospital wide and with the Respiratory Therapy Department. Assumes leadership responsibilities at the request of the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
