Job Summary Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with a variety of needs and physical abnormalities. Performance: Position Specific Essential Functions Demonstrates clinical competencies necessary to provide respiratory therapy to patients. Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide respiratory care to the adult/geriatric population. Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide care to neo-natal/pediatric patients. Collects and evaluates pertinent clinical information by inspection, auscultation, and patient review. Review's patient's medical record, history, blood gas values, and other laboratory data. Performs patient assessments and institutes respiratory care plans. Performs various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital. Responsibilities: Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
