Overview This position is responsible for the accurate assistance of pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to both in-patients and out-patients.  Computer entry and processing of patient drug orders; sterile and non-sterile preparations of liquids and solid dosage forms; care and ordering of supplies and equipment; training of trainees; processing of admittance, discharge and transfer of patient drugs; performing miscellaneous related tasks. Responsibilities Receives, stickers, and stocks daily medication order. Ensures barcode recognition in facility systems. Performs med cabinet refill and out-of-date checks on all items. Maintains assigned nursing station med room in compliance with policy. Troubleshoots med cabinet issues and resolves when possible. Investigates any controlled substance discrepancy in assigned area.
