Job Details Description JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing appropriate therapy and treatment to persons recognized as in need of physical therapy.  Provides a wide range of services from assessment through therapy and necessary follow-up services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist and within the scope of his/her licensure.  Assists in providing services to patients of all ages, children through geriatrics.

Job Details Description SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY DAY SHIFT HOURS  JOB SUMMARY Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy for modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.  Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.  Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.
