Overview The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Physical Therapy Aide for our Decatur location. The PT Aide will support patient care by preparing treatment areas, equipment, and materials as well as by performing designated and supervised routine tasks related to physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The PT Aide must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff. Overview Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions 1.     Performs respiratory patient assessments, makes appropriate recommendations and initiates recommended mode of therapy per physician orders. Must be familiar with ventilator equipment, respiratory medication delivery devices as well as be knowledgable on performing chest physical therapy. 2.     Draws and analyzes arterial blood specimens.
