Job Description: The occupational therapist is part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing evidence-based interventions to acute rehabilitation patients. The occupational therapist collaborates with the rehabilitation team to develop a comprehensive plan of care to prepare the patients for a successful discharge. They work with a variety of patient neurological diagnoses as well as patients post multi-trauma and amputation. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life.
