Radiation Therapist (RT)(T) (As Needed/PRN) JOB SUMMARY: Safely and correctly operates equipment delivering ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating neoplastic diseases or for other therapeutic purposes. Applies ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. Carries out pre-treatment preparations including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices. Hours: PRN or as needed with variable hours during office hours of Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p EDUCATION: Associates degree, Bachelors preferred EXPERIENCE: Must be knowledgeable of the operation methods and safety standards of all equipment producing ionizing radiation within the department.
