Looking for an enthusiastic and innovative part- time or full-time physical therapist to join a growing rehabilitation department based in a rural Critical Access Hospital and Outpatient Clinic.
Duties include: providing, planning and organizing PT services to the community and surrounding areas including CAH, outpatients, school (optional), supervising PTA and RCA and working in a multidisciplinary team environment including PT/OT/ST, providers and nursing staff.
Experience an asset but not essential. New grads welcome.
Therapy Functions:
Review requests for physical therapy and physicians' orders.
Evaluate type of therapy most desirable after consulting with physician.
Provide effective and efficient evaluation and treatment and modify as needed.
Instruct patients and/or family members and staff in home programs as well as care and use of adaptive equipment.
Provide patient education.
