JOB DESCRIPTION: The Diagnostic Imaging/CT Radiology Technologist is preferred to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or CT and have committed hours to UVM Medical Center (UVMMC). They demonstrate progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the Radiology department.  A Technologist in this position should expect to perform imaging examinations within both CT and Diagnostic Imaging modalities in a given shift.  They operate a variety of x-ray and CT equipment to perform routine imaging, fluoroscopic and operating room procedures according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Diagnostic Imaging Tech I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont. EXPERIENCE: ARRT certified and hold a current license with the State of Vermont.
