Position Title: CSA - Clinical Support Assistant - Comprehensive Care - Days Department: 3rd Floor Overflow Job Description: Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week) 7a - 7p Under general supervision of a registered nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Under general supervision of the RN and in collaboration with the patient and family, systematically and continually monitors the patient’s health status and implements the plan of care. Carries out physician and nursing orders as directed by the RN that is within scope. Takes/records blood pressures, temperatures, pulse and weighs patients. Performs blood glucose monitoring.
