$15,000 Sign On Bonus (Cardiac Experience Required) PRIMARY FUNCTION To assist the Cardiac Surgical team, under the direction of a professional nurse, in providing skilled care for any patient undergoing surgical procedures. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Demonstrates proficient clinical skills in the scrub role. · Demonstrates ability to scrub on a wide range of procedures, specific to the unit specialties. · Demonstrates solid knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the handling of instruments/equipment in the OR and aseptic technique. · Demonstrates openness to learning scrub techniques for new procedures and new instrumentation/equipment and receiving feedback concerning clinical skills. · Actively works with leadership to identify own learning needs and seeks opportunities to meet these learning needs.
