Job Summary and Qualifications The Certified Surgical Technologist assists surgeons, anesthetist and registered nurses in the delivery of perioperative care to patients. Under the direction of the registered nurse, acts as a primary scrub person handling surgical instruments, equipment and supplies necessary during a procedure.
