Working under the direction of the MRI Manager, MRI Supervisor, and MRI Clinical Director, the Lead MRI Technologist (LMT) is responsible for performing all technical procedures within MRI as described in the DFCI Imaging Policy and Procedure Manual along with enhanced duties and responsibilities (e.g., regulatory/accreditation activities, QA/QI/QC, technical audits, managing supplies, training/educational activities, etc.). The Lead MRI Technologist is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective imaging procedures, participation in departmental education programs, participation in organizational and departmental goals and priorities, and active involvement in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) activities.
