Job Title: Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures Technologist Department: Cardiac/Cath Lab Location: Unity Hospital Hours Per Week: 40hrs Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm; On-call required Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 SUMMARY: Performs as a Radiologic Technologist and a Special Procedures Technologist in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within Interventional & Imaging Services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs as a radiologic technologist; prioritizes tasks and exams, confirms patient identification and examination, provides radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation, individualizes and provides effective explanations of exams to patients, correctly positions patients for standard examination views, performs special or additional views if required by adjusting routine for difficult or limited movement patients.
