Overview
Working under the direction of the Ultrasound Manager/Supervisor and Ultrasound Clinical Director, the Ultrasound technologist is responsible for performing all technical procedures within Ultrasound as described in the DFCI Imaging Policy Manual. All Ultrasound technologist positions include the responsibility of the delivery of safe and effective imaging procedures, participation in departmental education programs, participation in organizational and departmental goals and priorities and active involvement in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) activities.
