Job Description: Assists with the delivery of patient care utilizing knowledge of asepsis and intra-operative management. In addition to patient care duties, performs a variety of stocking, supply, and housekeeping functions necessary for the operation of the nursing units. The primary responsibility will be focused on performing a variety of technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. Responsibilities include maintenance of equipment and supplies throughout the labor and delivery unit. The Perinatal Surgical Technologist must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in Patient Care Team as a multi-skilled caregiver in all areas of Maternal Newborn Services.
