SUMMARY: Under moderate supervision, the NEURODIAGNOSTIC TECH prepares patient for and conducts various neurodiagnostic procedures such as Electroencephalograms, Evoked Potentials, and Transcranial Doppler exams. Collects patient information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests and determines proper procedures for testing. Responsibilities Performs standard EEGs such as wake and sleep, nasopharyngeal, bedside, isolation, pediatric, neonatal, electrocerebral inactivity evaluations, etc. , according to departmental procedures. Adapts methods and instrumentation to obtain optimal results based on history, clinical observations and EEG findings.
