JOB TITLE : Surgical Technologist SUPERVISION RECEIVED : Physician and/or Registered Nurse GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :   Surgical technologists, also called "scrubs" or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
