Job Summary :  To perform a variety of cleaning and related duties as needed and as assigned in the Sterile Processing Department. This includes, but is not limited to, moving light furniture, equipment and supplies in all work areas. Hours of work will vary between 9am and 11pm, occasional weekend on call rotation required. Qualifications:    Must be actively enrolled in a formal High School or College level academic program, preferably with a focus in a healthcare related field. Must be a minimum of 18 years old. No prior work experience required.  Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions and must be able to follow specific documented procedures.  Basic computer skills required. Job Summary:    On the job training will be provided for department-specific skills. Assists the RN and Physician during Endoscopy and Bronchoscopy Procedures. Ensures procedure room is appropriately setup for each procedure. Performs bedside clean and high-level disinfection of endoscopes and bronchoscopes. Assists with transport of patients to and from the Endoscopy Department. Assists in pre-op and post-op care of patients under the supervision of an RN.
