About this Job: MedStar Health is looking for a Cath/IR Lab Technologist to join our team at Medstar Health Southern Maryland Hospital located in Clinton, MD. As a Cath/IR Lab Technologist , you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/Angio/EP Lab specializing in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, embolization of vascular bleeds, thrombolysis catheter insertion, and EP devices and ablations. Additionally, assists physicians with nonvascular procedures such as percutaneous drain placements, gastrostomies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and other interventional radiology procedures. With increased experience provides resource and mentoring to new staff while exhibiting enhanced technical skills.
