Job Description: The Surgical Technologist performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to ensure a safe and successful operative procedure. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and directly reports to Surgical Services management. It is expected that the Surgical Technologist will support system wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices. In addition, this person will actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan as outlined. About Primary Children's Hospital Primary Children's Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center that is open 24/7/365 with most scheduled surgeries being performed Monday-Friday between 0700-1700. We have 17 operating rooms and multiple specialty teams including ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular, General, Urology, Gynecology, GI, Fetal, Transplant and Robot.
