* This is a per-diem position being offered as a LEVEL 3 contract only which requires working 216 hours per 6 weeks schedule (36 hours/week). Must be able to work at any perioperative site and proficiently scrub at least 4 services, excluding CT & Transplant. Must cover two “late” days per pay period. One Weekday and One Weekend call shift every schedule at the director’s discretion. Summer & Winter holiday requirement. The primary responsibilities for these positions include: Pass surgical instruments in operating room. Maintain strict sterile field, assist/perform surgical case counts. Obtains necessary supplies/instruments for such cases and checks for completeness and working order. Opens room independently or in conjunction with the circulating nurse (depending on case complexity). Sets up and maintains sterile field until the patient exits the room. Maintains a neat and orderly sterile field during each case. Passes instruments to surgeons, anticipating needs....
