Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Emergency Department Technician position is to provide direct patient care, performs simple nursing procedures, performs in a technical capacity providing support to the professional staff in the evaluation and treatment of patients, and contributes to the overall orderliness and cleanliness of the unit under the direction and supervision of a Staff Nurse.
