Overview About the Role The main responsibility of the EKG Technician is to conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) to produce graphic recordings of the heart’s electrical activity, as monitored by the Cardiovascular Coordinator. The technician is equipped with the necessary education, skills, and experience to care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly.
