Apply Description The Surgical Technician (ST), under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and treatment of patients undergoing cesarean birth in the Operating Room and for patients having vaginal births in the LDRPP rooms.  The ST is also responsible for cleaning, restocking, and general maintenance of equipment and supplies on The Birth Place.  Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. Requirements High School Graduate or equivalent.
