Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the  Ambulatory Care Technician Certified - Per-Diem (Certified Medical Assistant)  position is to support the patient and the provider throughout the ambulatory care patient visit from registration through discharge and follow up. As a  Certified Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Care Technician Certified  will   structure the patient flow for the physicians in the examination and treatment of patients.  As directed by a Physician and University Hospital policy, the Ambulatory Care Technician Certified administers intramuscular and subcutaneous injections which may be delegated under State regulations.
