Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Overview The Pharmacy Technician II – Certified supports the Pharmacists and healthcare team(s) by ensuring the safe and efficient preparation, dispensing, and management of medications within the hospital or healthcare facility.  This position requires advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication preparation, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
