POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for proving technical services, creating a sterile field and maintaining an aseptic environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in compliance with the standards of the department. Monitor Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: The Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous observation of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The technician delivers telemetry to units and performs hook-up/discharge, patient preparation, and teaching related to the monitor.
