The Patient Safety Assistant ensures the safety of patients. Job Responsibilities: Under the general management and supervision of the Nurse Manager and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, performs a variety of activities that include, but are not limited to,  Direct and continuous observation of patient at a distance no greater than arm’s length from patient. Participates in patient rounding as and when directed by the Registered Nurse. Ensures environmental safety for patient.
