Job Description: Under general supervision of the Anesthesia Provider, Anesthesia Technologist Manager or a designee and following established procedures, the Anesthesia Technician 2 assures the quality of service and monitoring for patients undergoing anesthesia in all anesthetizing locations throughout the hospital. Maintains, services, sets up, tests, and troubleshoots equipment and provides technical assistance to the Anesthesia staff in the care of patients. Learns supervisory responsibility for the department daily by observing the Anesthesia Tech Manager or designee.
