Overview Performed the essential functions of a Cardiovascular Technician I and II. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operation of advanced diagnostic and interventional equipment; participation in the training and supervision of other Cardiovascular Techs; and participation in the evaluation, learning and/or teaching of new technologies as required. Works in or around radioactive areas. Administers medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician. These medications include, but are not limited to, adenosine, Dobutamine, regadenoson, atropine, Aminophylline, nitroglycerine, metoclopramide, heparin and sodium chloride. Qualifications Education: HS/GED required with participation in college level courses preferred. If hired/promoted after July 1, 2014, an active Anesthesia Tech. Certification is required.
